Equity Insurance Group has acquired the agricultural vehicle book of Staffordshire specialist brokerage, Charles E. Peake.
Around 1,000 policies held by the Stone-based company will transfer to Equity's office in the town and Charles Peake, who founded the brokerage in 1963, will continue to administer the book for the next 12 months.
Mike Hutton, Equity's managing director of branch broking said: "The Charles E. Peake agricultural business will strengthen our presence in the West Midlands, a region we've earmarked for further expansion."
