Overseeing a team of five Baljit Sodhi will be responsible for sales and broker relationships.
Specialist motor insurer ERS has hired Baljit Sodhi to lead the development and management of new and existing broker accounts.
Sodhi joins ERS from RGA Underwriting, where she held the position of associate director, with responsibility for sales and broker relationships.
In her new role Sodhi will report into ERS commercial director Sam Hudson. She will lead an existing team of five business development associates.
Hudson said: “Baljit’s team are vital in ensuring that every broker we trade with has a named relationship manager, no matter what their size or speciality, and her experience will help us grow and extend our broker base.
“Baljit’s appointment completes my leadership team, and I am excited that she has chosen to join ERS.
“As a broker-only insurer it’s important we have the best capability in the market, and with Alex Hardy, who joined in July this year, and Jackie Stead we know have that in place.”
