Former MSL employee to oversee Wales and Southwest markets

Commercial underwriting specialist Evolution Underwriting has appointed Angie Mugford as Business Development Executive. Ms. Mugford joins from Legal Expenses Insurer, MSL, where her experience included both commercial broking and Insurer roles.

Her responsibilities will include Broker Relationship Management and Development in Wales and South west.

Commenting on the new appointment, Laura Cook, Evolution’s Business Development Manager, said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for Angie. We remain clearly focussed on independent regional brokers and this appointment is further evidence of our commitment to servicing their needs to the highest possible standard”.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
