Oxygen Holdings has today appointed Peter Christie to its board as non-executive director.

Christie was previously vice chairman of the Aon Group, in Chicago, which he joined when it acquired the Minet Group of which he was chairman and chief executive. He is currently chairman of Friemann Christie.

Ron Sandler, chairman of Oxygen Holdings plc, said: “Peter has exceptional experience in managing international service firms over a long period of time. This, together with his direct experience in major client management, is of significant importance to Oxygen at this stage of its development"

The board's other non-executive members include Ron Sandler, a former chief executive of Lloyd's and Michael Spencer, group chief executive and founder of ICAP plc.
