Agricultural Insurance Underwriting Agencies (AIUA) must have had some fun with the Young Farmers' Clubs at the annual farming talent competition.
AIUA sponsored the event, which must have been a pretty 'lively' [drunken?] affair. Bizarrely, entertainment, sports and public speaking were just some of the events hotly contested, and playwright Sir Alan Ayckbourn was on hand to present the prizes.
Backchat, which has a bit of a Yorkshire heritage, was pleased that the team of Yorkshire farmers came out the winners.
