Goshawk losses at $1m
Troubled reinsurer Goshawk Insurance reported post-tax losses of $1m (£498m) in 2006. In 2005, the company made losses of $143m (£71m) after hurricane Katrina. But it warned that the outlook for the business remained "very uncertain".

Sirius profits surge 22%
Software house Sirius Financial Solutions reported operating profits of £2.5m in 2006, an increase of 22% on the previous year. Group turnover rose 9% to £23.7m.

Hyperion turnover rises
Hyperion Group reported a 24% increase in turnover and a 37% increase in operating profits for the year ended 30 September 2006. Revenues grew from £27.4m to £34.1m, and operating profits rose from £4.3m to £5.9m.
