The formation of the first nationwide alliance of chartered adjusters representing policyholders has been announced by Richard Hanson-James, managing director of chartered loss adjusters ClaimEx.

The alliance, Claim Experts Network, will allow small, local adjusters to offer a complete range of disciplines, extending and improving the services available to their clients.

Practitioners representing policyholders have seen an increase in work in recent years. Mr Hanson-James said: "We are currently in discussion with many potential network partners."
