Folgate Insurance this week opened the first of three new regional offices as it gears up to attack the commercial lines insurance market.
The new office in Charles Street, Birmingham, is staffed by a team made up almost exclusively of ex-Lombard commercial lines staff. These include regional development manager Dave Townsend; regional underwriting manager Steve Jones; underwriters Richard Mason and Alison Pendlebury.
The only person who is not from Lombard is senior surveyor Charles Jones.
Sales and operations manager, Mike Bridge (also ex-Lombard) said: "This is a tangible sign to the market of our serious intent to become a player in our chosen sector."
