legal expenses provider appointed by Scottish Prison Officers Association
FirstAssist Legal Protection has been appointed by the Prison Officers Association (Scotland) as its new legal protection provider, with effect from 1st June 2008.
The deal which was secured following a head to head with the current provider, FirstAssist said, adding that it continued a trend of rapid growth in the sector.
FirstAssist head of sales Andy Glynne said: "This is testament to the quality of our service and claims handling process.
“The Association was looking for a provider that could combine the appropriate levels of legal protection cover with a high quality claims handling service. We were able to demonstrate that we could meet both their insurance requirements and exceed their expectations on the administration and processing front”.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
