Fitch Ratings has assigned Bupa Insurance Ltd (BIL) a financial strength 'A+' rating. The outlook is stable.
With around 40% market share, the ratings agency said BIL was the UK market leader in the private medical insurance sector.
The company is the largest of the six operating units of the Bupa group.
