Growth attributed to new commercial lines facilities

The Countrywide network has added five new members controlling £35m in premium in the last five weeks.

In a statement the company said the additions were the result of newly launched facilities, particularly across commercial lines: "The surge in new membership is in part due to the launch of Partner Broker and PowerPlace initiatives, both of which are generating huge interest amongst existing and potential members and the market as a whole."

Gurjit Sagoo, office manage for InsureYourMotor, said: "Signing up to Countrywide means we can benefit from enhanced commission, discounted rates and improved service standards whilst gaining access to new markets. This gives us the edge over our competitors."

Nick Giddings, Insurance Services Manager, Countrywide said: “Over the last 12-18 months the new facilities we have launched to brokers have generated a significant amount of interest, widening our already extensive Countrywide Portfolio and providing yet more choice."

"As well as all of these new benefits, Countrywide brokers still receive all the standard service features available through membership for as little as £800 per annum."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
