Proposals by Lloyd's to admit insurance brokers from outside the market has met with criticism from one of the UK's leading brokerages.
The Miller Insurance Group says the plan to allow non-Lloyd's brokers to place business in the market via "sponsored intermediaries" is seriously flawed.
It is concerned that this new class of broker will be subject to less stringent financial and regulatory requirements which it calls a "high-risk strategy".
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
