Insurance big wigs were out in force at the Towergate dinner in Glasgow last week and Backchat was delighted to be greeted by a giant screen showing the Champions League semi-final between Chelsea and Liverpool. In fact, Backchat was not the only excited guest and recalls one slightly over-zealous chief exec getting rather thrilled about a goal that seconds later was ruled offside. Plans were also being made for the final in Moscow, with talk of chartered planes and even the Orient Express. Now that is one screening Backchat would love to witness.
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
