The enhanced classic vehicle collector policy includes an extended range of benefits

Footman James has partnered with Chubb Insurance for an enhanced classic vehicle collector policy.

The new policy now provides an extended range of benefits, including:

  • extended reinstatement value – policy will pay up to 10% to a maximum of £250,000, over the agreed value to restore a vehicle after a claim for cars more than 15 years old;
  • newly owned vehicles – automatic cover for newly owned vehicles up to 10% of the total value of the vehicles on a policy schedule up to a maximum of £1million per single vehicle; and
  • free appraisal service – Chubb’s appraisers offer risk management and valuation advice for motor collections over £2m. This can be extended to the client’s main home free of charge.

Footman James director David Bond said: “We are delighted to partner with Chubb Insurance. For 30 years we’ve selected our insurance providers very carefully so that we can continue to provide a range of new products and services while delivering an improved level of customer experience.

“Research has told us that collectors are looking for tailored insurance, with specialist cover and services that help keep a cherished car or bike on the road. Chubb ticks all the boxes as a leading insurer of classic cars and bikes. Its appraisal service for significant motor collections is a key benefit that we can now offer our clients.”
