Crocker appointed chairman of new real estate division
Giles Insurance Brokers has appointed Nick Crocker as chairman of its newly formed real estate division.
Crocker (pictured) began his career in underwriting with Commercial Union and L&E, and was one of the early directors of Towergate where he became group managing director. More recently he ran a number of insurance businesses focused on property, and currently acts as a consultant to Giles Group on a range of underwriting and business issues.
Giles’ real estate division will focus on property owners and the private rental sector.
Giles chief executive Brendan McManus said: “Nick Crocker is an experienced insurance professional with unparalleled specialist knowledge of the sector. We are thrilled that he’s going to be part of the team and lead our newly formed real estate business.”
Crocker said: “I am delighted to head up Giles’ real estate business, I know the senior team at Giles well, and I am looking forward to building the Group’s real estate business into a significant player in the future.”
