The FSA has shut down Sharp Insurance Services for failing to submit its regulatory returns.
The regulator said in a final notice that Sharp’s permission to carry on regulated activities had been withdrawn.
Newbury-based Sharp had failed to conduct its business in compliance with proper standards.
It had also failed to co-operate with the FSA.
The FSA said Sharp had failed to submit its retail mediation activities return for the period ended 5 October 2006, despite repeated requests to do so.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
