Commercial combined and professional indemnity will be among new policies on offer
GB Underwriting has signed a new deal with W R Berkley (Insurance) Europe to provide a range of products targeted at the latter’s existing customer base, primarily within construction and contractor-related sectors.
Commercial combined and professional indemnity will be among the new policies on offer. New wordings and rates are now also available for contractors combined, directors’ and officers’ liability, and contractors all risk.
GB chairman James Gerry said: “For some while now, we’ve been working behind the scenes with WRB Europe to develop tailored policy wordings and rates that provide GB’s brokers with an expanded suite of insurance products for their clients.”
WRB Europe managing director Peter Glanfield added: “GB have a proven track record in the area of construction-related insurance and we have very similar underwriting philosophies. Working with them has been easy and we’re confident that, together, we’ve developed a range of insurance products that will set GB apart.”
