RSA share price hike fuels takeover speculation
Italian insurer Generali has ruled out making an offer for RSA.
RSA's share price rose 3.8% today on speculation that Generali had made an offer for the UK based insurer.
Generali said it had no interest in RSA and had not submitted an offer. RSA refused to comment.
Both Zurich and Allianz have been linked with bids for RSA in the past.
