Chief exec says move will allow growth into 'key geographical location'
Giles has snapped up the retail broking division of James Hampden Insurance Brokers in a move to establish a presence in the East Midlands.
Giles chief executive Chris Giles said the deal would allow the business to expand into a “key geographical location that has been of interest to us for some time”.
James Hampden specialises in small to medium-sized enterprise and property insurance.
Its chief executive Simon Hall will stay on in a consultancy role after the deal completes, and he will also continue to develop the broker’s international arm.
