Consolidator is third fastest-growing private equity-backed company

Giles Insurance Brokers has won The Sunday Times/PricewaterhouseCoopers Value Creation Award.

The Award recognises the value created by entrepreneurs for their businesses over the last three years.

Earlier this year, Giles came third in the Buyout Track 100 league table in recognition of having the third fastest-growing profits of all UK private-equity backed companies over the previous two years and also came ninth in Profit Track 100 in recognition of being the ninth fastest-growing private company by average profit growth over the last three years.

Chief executive Chris Giles said: “This is an excellent achievement for Giles to be recognised as a leading value creator in Britain. I am very proud of our growth record, which is a testament to the drive and commitment of all our staff. Our goal remains to take a lead in consolidating the broking industry and we are working hard to develop the business further in the current market environment.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
