Reich Insurance
Manchester's Reich Insurance Brokers has appointed Andrew Perry as operations manager.

Perry joins from Norwich Union, where he was responsible for broker business acquisition.

Perry has more than 20 years' experience acting for major insurers and brokers.

Marsh
Marsh has appointed Jim Edwards as a managing consultant in its business continuity management team.

Edwards joins the team from Marsh in Singapore, where he was the practice leader for business continuity management in Asia.

Edwards established and developed Marsh's business continuity management practice in the region and is a member of Marsh's global avian flu team.

Insurer

Beazley Group
Ian Hoy has joined Beazley Group as group analyst.

Hoy joins Beazley from Lloyd's where he recently played a leading role in the development of Lloyd's three-year strategic plan, known as the Optimal Platform strategy.

Prior to working with Lloyd's, Hoy was a group project manager at Heritage Group and a rating analyst at Standard & Poor's.

The group also recently appointed Marston (Marty) Becker as an independent non-executive director.

Becker, an attorney and certified public accountant, has more than 28 years' experience in insurance and reinsurance.

He is currently chairman and chief executive of LaSalle Reinsurance.

Brit Insurance
Mark Jones will join Brit Insurance in July as marketing director.

Jones joins Brit from Cofunds, the independent funds platform, where he held the position of marketing and product development director.

Prior to working at Cofunds, he spent nine years at Zurich Financial Services. He has also worked for Bradford & Bingley and Nationwide Building Society.

Arc Legal Assistance
Arc Legal Assistance has appointed Julie Rainbird as assistant claims manager.

Rainbird joins Arc with a background in after-the-event insurance, having previously worked for Amicus Legal and Greystoke Legal Services.

Talbot Underwriting
Talbot Underwriting recently completed a number of appointments.

Andrew Keogan, who joined the company in March, has been named head of internal audit;

Rod Harris (who joined Talbot in April) is head of underwriting risk management; Sean Callaghan (who joined in May) is the deputy finance director.

Nicholas Hassam will also be joining Talbot in July, when he will take up the position of head of catastrophe modelling.

Ricksons
Lisa Collins is a new partner with Ricksons and has joined the firm's insurance litigation team in Leeds.

Collins joins Ricksons from Addleshaw Goddard, having previously been a partner with Davies Arnold Cooper.

An "Irish lad" and a "Yorkshire lass" are the latest additions to the team at Birmingham healthcare insurer, BHSF.

Karen Broom is BHSF's new account executive for Yorkshire and Peter McMinn is the account executive for Northern Ireland.

Broom, who will be based in Doncaster, has gained extensive sales experience in the consumer retail sector and says she is looking forward to her new challenge.

When she is not working, Sudoku-addict Broom enjoys entertaining friends, going to the gym and playing squash.

McMinn, who lives in Randalstown, County Antrim, has experience in both business-to-business and consumer through marketing TR1-Mobile Communications.

A life-long Manchester United fan, McMinn's interests outside of work include sports and planning for his forthcoming wedding.
