Adam FoxGlencairn, an employee-owned insurance and reinsurance intermediary, has appointed Adam Fox to lead the reinsurance division.Fox was previously a managing director of Marsh. He was also on the board of Guy Carpenter and Company London, where he headed the London retail reinsurance division responsible for the UK, European and Asia Pacific teams. He has 17 years' industry experienceFox said: "Glencairn represents a significant opportunity both in terms of the development of a reinsurance account and the way the company works."Fox is a member and former captain of the Lloyd's rugby team and has played for Harlequins 1st XV. He is a member of the Bisley Shooting Club and the Lloyd's Fly-fishing Society. A keen racing supporter, Fox is also a Cheltenham National Hunt Member.

Brokers

Heath LambertHeath Lambert Group has appointed Tom Ernoult as managing director of its UK regional network.Prior to joining Heath Lambert, Ernoult spent 12 years with Marsh UK, where he was managing director and chief operating officer of its corporate client practice and middle market business. He also spent 12 years with Willis Faber.

MillerMiller Insurance Services has made two promotions.Steve Spicer becomes director of IT business services. Spicer has a specific focus on the company's IT applications and has recently taken responsibility for the implementation of its online services for clients and markets.Gary Blakesley becomes an associate director of marine. Blakesley specialises in marine hull and liability.

Alexander ForbesTony Blyfield has been appointed chairman of the combined professions and corporate risk solutions divisions of Alexander Forbes Risk Services.Blyfield was previously managing director of Alexander Forbes Professions. The combined executive management team will also include Roger Brown, managing director of corporate risk solutions, Clinton Douch, as newly appointed managing director of Alexander Forbes Professions (London) and Richard Brown, executive director, who will assume responsibility for sales and marketing.

OxygenOxygen, a new London market intermediary, has appointed Joe Knoblauch as chief finance officer.Knoblauch joins from Xchanging Insure Services, where he was finance director and company secretary of its holding company, Insure Holdings, and all other subsidiary companies.

Marcus Hearn & Co.Dean Atkin has been appointed assistant director of Marcus Hearn & Co.Atkin has been with the company for 17 years.

MarshMarsh has appointed David Nash as a development executive in its Maidstone business development team.Nash has 30 years' industry experience. He was previously commercial insurance development manager for the UK with AMP/Pearl, where he worked for 15 years.

OvalOval has appointed business development executives Jon Layton and Joanne Campbell to its Midlands new business team.

BiBFinancial adviser and insurance specialist BiB Darlington has promoted Robert Wilson to its board of directors.Wilson has been with the BiB Group for two years, having previously been managing director of DMC Insurance Brokers in Darlington.

Insurers

Direct CommercialSteve Mynott has joined Direct Commercial as agency manager. Direct Commercial is the sole UK service provider on behalf of Gibraltar-based motor fleet specialist Carraig Insurance Company. Mynott was previously an associate director and senior fleet placing broker for Lloyd's wholesale broker RL Davison & Co.

PrimaryDarrell Drake, a founding member of Primary Broker Services, has been appointed underwriting director with immediate effect. As director of underwriting, Drake will develop the Primary Group's trust and verify philosophy throughout his team of 12 commercial underwriters, based in Birmingham and Harrogate.

AXADouglas Barnett has been promoted to risk control strategy manager at AXA. Barnett has been at AXA for three years, most recently as property risk control manager.Mark Woffenden has been appointed as commercial channel and customer marketing manager. Woffenden joins AXA from HSA, where he held roles including business development executive, corporate marketing manager and core product manager.

AmlinAmlin Credit has appointed Damien Dawson as underwriting director.Dawson joins from Marsh, where for the past 18 months he has been responsible for insurer relationships and placement strategy on its trade credit portfolio.

AceAce Global Markets has appointed Malcolm Brett as director of aviation underwriting.Brett has more than 20 years' aviation experience. He was with the Ariel Syndicate at Lloyd's for 16 years before joining Cigna as aviation underwriting manager. Prior to his new role, he was deputy underwriter for Ace Global Markets' aviation department.

Technology

IWCL.comBinder and schemes software house specialist iWCL.com has appointed Dejan Pujic to its altitude business product development team. Pujic is a graduate with a Masters degree in Information Systems (e-business and technology) and will be developing internet-based insurance products for the Altitude system.

XchangingSiobhan Dudding has joined Xchanging as internal communications manager for HR services. Dudding was previously internal communications manager of e-commerce firm Radianz.

Other

Massenhove RecruitmentBarry Adams has joined Massenhove Recruitment.Adams spent the last six years with Marsh and previously worked within the Syndicate market.

TICCSTICCS (The Injury Care Clinics) has appointed Cerise McCormick as senior case manager for the North, and Paula Parr as senior case manager for the South. Each will manage and coordinate a team of seven nurse case managers situated around the UK.'
