Gold plating job?
Most members of the EU appear to have ignored the DOC extension, therefore is this just another gold-plating job, in support of regulators trying to justify their existence or pay?

In any case, is prosecution subject to the personal assessment as to whether or not their employment and pensions are at risk under the various social Acts and the politically correct brigade?

Nobody appears to have analysed the current impact of DOC, in terms of numbers and cost of claims.

Finally, is this just another declaration that cheap is best. Looking at the continuous media race by companies such as Direct Line, Admiral and Norwich Union, in search of even great market share, a reasonable person would conclude that insurance was a very profitable business.
