Goodfellows has launched Sickpayplus, an income replacement insurance package.
It provides tax-free benefits of up to £2500 a month for people unable to work due to accident or illness for periods exceeding 30 days.
The product, which is underwritten at Lloyds, combines automatic renewals and an application procedure that does not require medical examination.
Goodfellow's managing director Simon Burgess said: "All working people and their families will now have peace of mind during a health crisis for a moderate and pre-determined cost."
