Groupama has revised its existing corporate and business insurance products to offer cover for online risks.

The optional extensions include cover for infringement of intellectual property rights, breach of confidence or infringement of any right to privacy, defamation, loss of documents and business interruption.

Maggie Lister, Groupama Insurances' commercial director, said: “The problem is that the internet provides access to a huge customer base, literally at the touch of a button.

“The potential risks for a business arising from any form of error or omission is obvious and we have updated our policies with this in mind.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
