Hastings Direct is taking its first steps into TV advertising, with their first advert airing on 18 July.
Chairman and chief executive David Gundlach said: "This campaign signals the start of an exciting time for Hastings Direct and is indicative of the company's ambitions for future growth.
"With new staff being recruited across our three contact centres every week, I took the decision to launch on TV in order to generate even more calls.
"We have already invested heavily in Direct Mail and off-the-page media, but now seek to broaden brand awareness and help raise the profile of the company, which is why we have turned to TV."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
