Rough Guides, the publisher of the famous travel guides, has teamed up with Bristol-based brokers Torribles and Lloyd's underwriters to launch a travel insurance policy.
Frequent travellers can take out an annual policy. Discounts are available for couples and families. Special extensions can be made for skiing, diving and other adventure sports.
There is also a TravelSafe information locker scheme. Policyholders can place important travel itinerary details, passport details and the like.
Rough Guide travel insurance will be marketed through Rough Guides' travel guides and on www.roughguides.com/insurance the Rough Guides website.
