Insurer appoints engineering and construction director
HDI-Gerling has appointed David Chew as engineering and construction director.
Chew is a civil and structural engineer and joins from Chartis, where he was the deputy construction product line manager responsible for its worldwide portfolio.
HDI-Gerling UK and Ireland managing director Richard Taylor said: “I am delighted that David has chosen to join our company.
“Construction and engineering is an important and integral part of our business both here in the UK and around the world. With David’s appointment we aim to enhance our position as a leading insurer in construction all risk and erection all risk.”
