Heath Lambert boosts its national division with two major hires

Heath Lambert has captured two big names from rival brokers Aon and Marsh in a bid to drive its national division forward.

John Dakin, who joins from Aon where he was regional broking director for the North, has been appointed to the role of head of office for Leeds.

Jim Herbert, formerly managing director for national sales and development at Marsh, has become development director for all of the Heath Lambert National (HLN) teams around the UK.

Graham Barr, who heads up both the HLN division and the Project Risks Group (PRG), said: “It is our intention to hire the very best people across all areas of the business and to ensure that we give them the scope to develop our already successful business and to make it even more so.

"John and Jim are highly experienced and come with proven track records."

The HLN team incorporates the Group’s UK commercial network as well as specialist claims management services and the UK’s leading public sector team.
