Division 'set to grow further'

Heath Lambert Insurance Services (HLIS) has strengthened its retail partnerships division with a number of key appointments, the broker said today. It added that it was looking to grow the division even further "to keep pace with demand".

David Rudd has been appointed as retail director, with overall responsibility for the division. Nick Dunn has been appointed a sales director, with responsibility for business development, key account management and the inbound and outbound telesales operations; and Derek Turton has been appointed as broking and retention director with responsibility for insurer relationships, customer service and business retention.

"The outbound telesales activity at Wakefield has trebled in the last twelve months and with new schemes in the pipeline with high profile brands in the UK, the team at Wakefield have been kept very busy. As a result, there have been various moves within the division to restructure and strengthen the team," said Heath Lambert.

Paul Smith, managing director of HLIS said: 'I'm delighted that we have been able to put this new management team in place as it will enable us to focus on driving the business forward in the key areas of new business and retention for both our clients and their customers. It will also support our growth plans for a number of new schemes and the continued development of our inbound and outbound telesales and e-commerce models. With lots of new initiatives in the pipeline, we are looking forward to the months ahead! '
