Helphire has appointed Martin Ward as managing director of Albany, the uninsured loss recovery company it acquired in October 2004.
Ward's insurance career began in 1995 as co-founder and commercial director of Rarrigini & Rosso, which operated Fleet UK and ARM risk management services. The business was later acquired by THB in September 2003.
For the past year Ward has been completing a full-time MBA at Durham University.
