Norwich-based Highway Glass & Locks has invested more than £50,000 on its call centre with the installation of a new call centre module designed to improve customer response times.

Highway provides a 24 hour emergency glass, frames and locks service to clients including Norwich Union, Legal & General and Lloyds TSB. The new system will allow Highway to accommodate in the region of 1,000 call centre staff.

The company has already invested £500,000 in the last 18 months on a computerised tracking system which enables live links to Highway's nationwide branch network.
