Higos Insurance Services has entered into a contract with immediate effect to buy the client book of business and certain assets of Insurancevillage plc.
Insurancevillage plc, a subsidiary of Murray Financial Corporation plc, has traded as both an internet and call centre-based insurance broker.
Managing director of Higos Ian Gosden said: "We are very excited by this development as it provides us with a major internet presence as well as additional clients."
Higos Insurance Services is a wholesale broker based in Somerset, providing general insurance and mortgage services to clients of Financial Services professionals.
