The broker will take on an additional eight graduates next year

Higos Insurance Services is expanding its graduate training scheme after launching its first programme in June this year.

The expanded programme will take on eight graduates next year, up from the five places offered in the first year of the scheme.

Managing director Ian Gosden said: “[The graduate training programme] has been very successful for us and heralded a new approach to our staff development programme.

“We are an expanding business and are keen to attract high calibre staff. We have always employed a mix of people, from those with no previous experience of insurance, to highly qualified and experienced technical experts.”

Those entering onto the graduate programme will be given the opportunity to pursue Chartered Insurance Institute certification.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
