Somerset-based broker in senior hire from Lloyds TSB
Higos Insurance Services has appointed Chris Scott as retail branch director in a bid to add 20 new branches in the next three years.
Scott will be responsible for the day-to-day running and development of all the group’s branches, based in the company’s Wells head office.
Higos currently has 15 offices but through acquisitions and organic expansion expects to be operating 35 branches by 2013.
Scott joins Higos from Lloyds TSB, where he was most recently a local director for the bank’s 20 branches in the Bristol area.
Higos founder and managing director Ian Gosden said: “Chris has an impressive record of managing branch networks in the financial services industry and will be an excellent addition to the Higos management team.
“His appointment is a vital part of our ambitious expansion plans which will see us dramatically increase and develop our High Street presence over the next three years.”
Scott added: “Joining Higos Insurance Services at this time in its development is an exciting new challenge. I am looking forward to delivering growth combined with top level customer service throughout the Higos branch network.”
