Backchat was tickled by this amusing travel claim, forwarded by Tricia Pearson, operations manager of Travel Insurance Facilities.
In response to the question “please detail circumstances of the event”, the claimant, a young man, wrote:
“I went to a taverna in Skiathos and had a meal and drinks. From 12 midnight, I cannot remember anything apart from waking up in another taverna at 6am without any trousers.
“Also missing were my ring, leather belt, sunglasses and wallet, which was chained to my trousers.”
