Hiscox has joined with an online consultancy service to provide a human resources service for SMEs.
Businesshr is a 24-hour service that helps managers with employment laws and reduces prosecution risks.
Mark Shaw, employment practices liability product expert at Hiscox, said: "We have two main objectives in introducing businesshr.
First, we are looking to provide a wider solution for SME clients, which include the management of every day risk in addition to insurance.
"Second, we are providing a free new service for our brokers which we feel will really benefit the running of their businesses and in turn will help them explain the quality of this consultancy to their clients."
Shaw estimates that 30,000 SME clients will have access to businesshr during the first year.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
