Hiscox has announced it is to establish Bermudian operations.
The move makes it the second Lloyd's insurer to start-up in Bermuda after Amlin announced its intention last week.
According to reports, Hiscox is in the final stages of fund raising that will capitalise the new start-up in time to begin writing for the key renewal season.
Hiscox has said it will issue a statement tomorrow.
