Tony Clayton, Shaun Grainger and Mike Staines join Capita-backed agency as business development managers

High net worth (HNW) motor underwriting agency Infinity has hired executives from Zurich, Aon and Marsh to its business development team.

Tony Clayton has joined the Capita-backed managing general agency as business development manager for the North. He spent 18 years at Zurich Financial Services in senior sales and business development roles.

Shaun Grainger joins Infinity as business development manager for the South. He was previously a business development manager at Aon.

Mike Staines has also been appointed business development manager for the south. He joins from Marsh, where he was business development manager for the networks division.

The three new hires will report to Infinity managing director Michael Ward and underwriting director John Finnigan.

Infinity was founded in 2013. Markerstudy provides the MGA’s underwriting capacity.
