International Health Insurance (IHI) will underwrite health cover provider InterGlobal's range of international health care plans from 1 July 2005.
The international health care plans are targeted towards individuals who live or work abroad and include features like emergency medical repatriation.
Stephen Hartigan, chief executive of InterGlobal, said: “Our alliance with IHI enables us to maintain our independence and flexibility and provides a secure platform for future growth. It's an exciting time for everyone.”
