In addition, the success of the commercial van product, Van Guard, has made a significant contribution with over 20,000 policies written in the first nine months of operation.
Building on our record of out-performing the market in previous years, Q3 2006 results showed a 7% increase in the number of private cars covered, and we have now insured in excess of 1.5 million cars which exceeds end-of-year expectations.
