insurE-com is set to launch a new service offering data storage and recovery to its registered intermediaries.

The new service will facilitate remote data backup as regularly as the user wishes.

The company claims this process will ensure "maximum protection" of the intermediary's data at all times, because it includes high-level security measures such as encrypted passwords.

The process is straightforward and cost effective to implement and will operate by the data being electronically sent and stored in a secure purpose built facility.

insurE-com chief executive Ralph Ehlers commented: "insurE-com is dedicated to making the insurance industry work smarter and in doing this we must also help it to work safer.

"It would be unthinkable for an intermediary to operate a computer system that was not insured; yet the critical data that it stored is by far the more valuable asset. Protecting a business's vital information is rapidly becoming a critical measure to ensure a company's survival and its future interests."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
