InsurE-com, the insurance system provider and industry portal, is increasing its personal lines products available on the system.
Marketing manager Ian Carter said motorcycle insurance would be available at the end of the year and travel insurance offered by early next year. "They are definitely on our roadmap," he said. Carter confirmed that travel insurance can currently be processed in a back office capacity but insurE-com would launch a service for comparative inquires.
He said intermediaries had expressed an interest in being offered travel insurance, along with the other personal lines products. "Travel and motorcycle insurance are two personal lines component among many. We are planning to introduce a range of other products, including all sorts of bespoke products like pet insurance. We are also planning to introduce lifestyle insurance."
