Report predicts insurers will look to buy books of business

PriceWaterhouseCoopers partner Bill Chrnelich, says in a report on the outlook for the insurance industry that big mergers and acquisitions will happen soon, Dow Jones reports.

Chrnelich said insurers dislike the current "uncertainty" in the regulatory environment and are divided over whether they like the proposal for a new federal office of insurance to be formed in addition to the existing state regulatory system.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
