Jordan and other enhanced beauties can now feel more secure in their high heels. A new policy for cosmetically enhanced breasts has been launched this week.

For £500, the Breast Assured policy will pay out up to £5,000 if corrective surgery has to take place. The broker is Trafalgar Risk Management.

According to Trafalgar, it should be popular given that 10% of women who have breast enlargement develop problems following surgery.

This new entrant in the market came in the same week celebrity chef Anthony Worrall Thompson insured his fingers and tongue for a total of £1m. "I can hobble around on wooden legs, but I can't do very much in my job without my fingers," said Worrall Thompson.

"I did it years ago ago when I insured my fingers for £50,000, but I need to increase the cost as my salary has gone up."
