London market software specialist Intech solutions has been acquired by global IT company the Sword Group for an undisclosed sum.
The deal was an all cash transaction.
A spokesman for Intech said the company would operate largely as an independent cell within the wider Sword Group.
Heath Davies, the Sword Group chief operating offcier based in London, will manage the integration of the two companies.
Tony Holland is understood to have stood down as managing director of Intech but will continue to head up the company and report directly to Davies.
