Isle of Man-based intermediary Blackford Insurance has announced plans to open a new office.
Robin Blackford, the broker's managing director, has paid tribute to the efforts of 1 Answer Network, which specialises in the high street personal lines market.
Blackford said: “If it wasn't for 1 Answer Network I certainly would not be in a position whereby I have the opportunity and confidence to establish a second branch. Efficiency is one thing but coupled with the increased profit margins I can see a real future for the high street intermediary market.”
Blackfords has been able to focus on cross-selling as well as reducing costs of administration through a reduction in filing of over 90% and a streamlined diary and accounts package. The speed of processing transactions has increased significantly through the use of CDL, which is provided by 1 Answer Network as part of an ASP solution.
