Yorkshire-based broker and financial advisor JM Glendinning has opened a new office in Gateshead and unveiled plans to open ten more.
The new office will be headed up by Darren McArdle.
JMG Group managing director Paul Glendinning said he wanted to open ten offices within ten years.
"Our intention at the moment is to do it organically, but we would be open to acquisitions if we felt it was right for us," he added.
The general insurance arm of the JMG Group controls around £12m GWP, and Glendinning said he expected to control more than £20m in five years.
