Property specialist strengthens in-house underwriting agency
Property broker Keelan Westall has announced a string of appointments within its in-house underwriting agency that are set to enhance its technical expertise and risk-management capabilities.
The company, which is part of Barbon Insurance Group, has made six new appointments. Keelan Westall managing director Wayne Tonge said: “In recent months, we have recruited a new team manager, a senior account executive and four new account executives for our in-house underwriting agency. All these recruits have varied experience of working within the insurance industry as well as part of a team.”
Team manager Tigi Singhateh has joined Keelan Wesetall from Towergate Riskline, where he spent 13 years as the new business manager. He is now responsible for managing nine account executives and supporting an ambitious growth strategy within the development and commercial combined teams.
New senior executive Trung Tang has worked for more than a decade in insurance and property at such organisations as Helm GroupPlc, Aon Ltd and Stackhouse Poland. He said: “My main role is to assist with the efficient performance of the commercial team, ensuring that we achieve targets and meet the company’s strategic objectives.”
Peter Halliday, Chris Walters, Patricia Relf and Jason Fox have been appointed as account executives.
