Kewill Systems has acquired Perwill in a drive forward into the insurance and financial services sectors.
Perwill is a UK based collaborative commerce solution provider with a strong client base within the insurance, financial services sectors, including Polaris, Legal & General and HSBC.
A significant volume of the UK and Irish motor insurance placement is electronically processed at some stage by Perwill eBiz-Manager, with household insurance growing at a fast pace.
Jacquie Boast, managing director, Kewill Solutions Europe said: "The acquisition of Perwill will significantly increase our presence in the insurance and financial services sectors, especially in relation to their partnership with Polaris and the work they have undertaken with leading insurers to manage their outsourced EDI services."
